Our mission is to provide reliable, efficient and flexible telecommunication training to all our staff and staff of our sister companies.
Our emphasis is on innovation, technoloy and continuous manpower development and meet the employees, stakeholders' and the whole nation's expectations for the attainment of international regional excellence.

In pursuance of our mission, the centre has responded to the changing manpower needs of the sector and is adopting measures that will enable GTTC to gain accreditation as a Tertiary Training Institute. The Centre plays a role that is unique and vital to the telecom industry of the nation in that we train personnel for other telecom providers. Currently, the Training Centre has four schools:
· Telecommunication Studies
· Information Technology and Multimedia
· Management Studies, Business Development, Education and Leadership
· Energy Systems & Airconditioning
Most of the programmes offered by the Centre revolved around the activities of the School of Telecommunication Studies. In 2001, GTTC introduced Management and Business Studies into the curriculum. The introduction of the courses was geared towards building a management conscious workforce needed to give Ghana Telecom a competitive edge in the liberalized telecommunications industry in Ghana.
